I usually get milsurp backpacks because of the value. A lot of them are pretty cool, but usually also floppy and smelly.

This East German one is pretty fa. Waterproof and on the smaller side. It comes with a retarded strap system with integrated suspenders (which can be easily fixed/modified).

This one is not particularly fa, but has been my favorite backpack purchase. Considering the price, it's excellent. If it's not full, it's not nearly as large and bulky as it seems. I use it as carry on for traveling. Would be excellent for carrying laptop/textbooks/binders, but doesn't have many internal pockets for organizing small items.

I did this to mine with some generic straps I bought from the same site. I used carabiners to attach them at the bottom because i didn't have enough d-rings. I also could've just cut up the original straps, but I wanted to keep them original. Might do it anyway eventually
