/r9k/ neet here.
im sicku of dressing ugly, so i vow to build up a small but decent looking set of clothes that i will wear on rotation.
here's my plan so far;
t-shirts - like 5 or so varying in colour, more dull tones; black/dark grey/light grey/.. ?? maybe green n' blue?
sweaters if cold for layering - i dont know where to buy, i tried Uniqlo ones, but they're really 'stiff' and not comfy at all. suggestions for cheap UK ones?
jacket - i hate wearing just tshirts, so i will be wearing this all year round/will be my 'piece' ('cause everything else is very normal/boring lol), so im kinda stuck making a decision.. was thinking a milsup parka with removable lining, good idea? in a plain colour, not camo..
jeans - again i need cheap, and H&M jeans have served me well, all things considered. i only like black, so need suggestions for something else..
shoes - no kidding, ive been wearing the same pair of white sneakers for 2-3yrs now.. nothing else. so kinda sick of white and sneakers in general. i see these austrian paraboots posted alot, but i worry it'll look too edgy on me, and im using milsurp too much (if i go w/ parka). i tried looking at black sneakers/trainers, but they all look like running shoes..
that's it so far. sorry for boring thread, but id appreciate suggestions :)
Focus more on earth tones than dull tones. H&M is fine for all basics. Just wear clothes that fit your body shape and keep lurking. As for shoes, I'm not sure dude.

Just make sure your t-shirts fit and go with your jeans. Maybe try grey jeans for something a bit different.
As for shoes? The Vans Sk8 hi come in loads of colours and have the ankle height aesthetic of a set of boots but still being trainers/sneakers. I have a black set and they go with a lot of stuff.
Also try and match your belt colour to your trainers as a safe rule.
