I'm going to visit Florida the middle of next month and in my hometown by October I'd be wearing a t-shirt with a flannel over it to cover the suspenders I like to wear. However, it's a heavy flannel since it gets pretty cold here. I'd generally like to maintain the same look while in Florida, but the average temp is 75F and I don't want to look dressed ridiculously warm.
When shopping for men's clothes, whats' the thin/light fabric alternative to flannel called? Is there some other type, like linen that might work?
Alternatively: What type of shirt would one wear in warm weather to be casual but still cover suspenders?
Imagine someone wearing a Canada Goose parka in that weather and they tell you that it's fine, the fabric is special and feels great at that temperature.
You'd still think they look like a dumb cunt, right?
