I don't care. I love my Chateau, warmest jacket I've ever tried and it looks decent.

Do they make one like that but without the two top pockets? That one would be great if it just had two lower slash pockets, but as it is it looks over-designed. It doesn't get cold enough to wear those in Seattle anyway.

By the way, does anyone know of a high-quality hooded jacket with raglan sleeves and slash pockets??

I have that model, it's very warm and comfortable but I hardly get any occasion to wear it. Unless you live in the far north it's not worth it.

They're nice coats but I kind of regret buying mine, I pretty much just wear it to shovel snow

They do have a reputation for being kind of gauche depending on where you live though, especially university towns where students who can't really afford them blow their loans to buy one anyway

Anything else, really. I own a really heavy duty down parka from when I used to live out east, and I never wear it in Toronto. It's never cold enough to justify more than a shirt, sweater and wool or heavier cotton jacket.

I think most people forget (or just don't care) that CG is designed for use in the Arctic, and primarily make stuff for people who live there and/or work outdoors there.
