I think cars can be related to your aesthetic, pic related looks like it could go with terrorcore, palewave, or 90s inspired stuff. I think whether or not a car is fashionable depends on how closely it matches your aesthetic, so a red Ford pick-up truck wouldn't go well with someone that wears full Saint Laurent.

I would say that cars are part of your overall image, which in my mind is related to fashion because it is in the realm of our visual perception and is something that humans can create and develop the aesthetics. Just like interior design is related, cars end up being something that you use quite often in america so by extension it is perceived to be attached to you.

That doesn't mean drive a shitty car is somehow bad though. I have a hybrid beater and also have a newer BMW, just like I have a pair of Nikes and I also have some margielas.
