Lemaire FW'15 has a lot of trousers with ankle boots, not sure if it's a chelsea but similar style

We were talking about trousers not skinny jeans

The SLP cropped jeans and boot combo works because they're both very slim and they blend together colourwise.

But for trousers which are going to be a wider cut I think the boot should be mostly covered or else it looks a little awkward

Lemaire in general is very good for chelseas/ankle boots with trousers, his past few seasons have all featured the pair

My preference is for uncropped trousers when wearing boots

But Lemaire will be good no matter what so go for that look if you'd like

I'll qualifying my original statement by saying that my true pet peeve is when you can see the whole top of the Chelsea boots with pull tabs and all. The lemaire ones have a different silhouette though so it's not really a problem.
