Personally don't use lotion because within an hour of washing my face, it doesn't feel dry anymore. Just make sure the moisturizer is non-comedogenic and spf is a preference.(If you wanna get tanner in the face or not) I also recommend a exfoliater to use twice a week and a mask to use once a week.

Medfag here. Go to your physician. Ask for simple topical acne medication, such as Retin-A. Said physician will give you a prescription for it. Apply every night to avoid having your face look dry and red in the morning, so that the natural oils, not overly saturated, will take away the dryness by the time you're out the shower.
If spot application of it doesn't hurt to apply to your face the morning after, go ahead and put it on your face during your off days where you'll be inside most of the day.

Most people can't really use general use/buy at a drugstore topical acne medication. Go get Retin-A or go to a dermatologist and get an oral medication. Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid are likely to cause an overly large amount of dryness in skin, cause more breakouts over time, and generally don't work. They will cause you more pain than helping you.
