Just got a job. And when I have to tuck in my shirt, it feels uncomfortable. like my shirt is being "pulled down" and dragging down my throat. Is there any way to combat this feeling? I try to tuck it in very lightly, I try to tuck it in heavily, but its the same feeling either way - that it's this uncomfortable "pulling down" feeling
maybe your pants need a higher rise
could be pulling your shirts down
after you tuck in raise your arms up towards the sky so it pulls your shirt out a bit. makes it more comfortable and makes it so it's loose enough to go with your natural range of movements
Can't really understand this feeling because I love having them tucked in, but just stretch after doing that, so it would get comfortably loose

So the pants should be higher then?

a higher waistline yes
don't know if thats your problem but might be worth a shot

not only do they feel more comforable it also looks better when tucked in
personally i can't stand untucked shirts, proportions look weird as fuck and i hate the flowy hem, also everything kinda looks like a tent on me. i tuck t-shirts too
