And also, what I found to be most important, is how you dry it. Dont just rub your body towel on it and call it a day. Pat dry it and then let it air dry. Preferably a micro-fiber cloth, but a regular tshirt will do. I pat dry my hair while leaning upside down, and it dries perfectly into coils. Bitchesloveit/10

I kinda just let it do its own thing. Iv stopped heat styling it a few months ago and it's still got a while to go before it's healthy.
I thought you shouldn't comb it in the shower. Is that not right? Also, why no shampoo? Is conditioner enough to clean it?

This is weird. I have curly hair and my barber said to shampoo without conditioning and that combing my hair while it's wet would cause it to break.

Get a hand carved wide toothed comb and gently detangle in the shower.

Basically if ya buy some moisturizer - morrocan oil, argan oil, whatever - and put it in ya hair after showering it'll look great.

I like either Aveda's hair moisturizer or Lush's errr "R+B" or something like that. Currently using the latter.
