Hi - ill be attending a "day on the job" event tomorrow at a company i want to be hired from. The event is basically a tour of the offices with speeches from the company executives and other items mixed in. I want to be hired in the finance program and the event said business casual. Since this is a job for bew graduates, i know some people will show up in casual clothes, but i want to dress to impress. However, i dont want the stereotypical business casual look (button down with dress pants and black shoes). Do you guys have any suggestions for business casual wear that is made for these kind of first impresssion meetings? Thanks!

The guys that come are most likely going to dress like shit and only care about brands. Just wear well-fitting slacks (don't go too slim/skinny, gives wrong vibes) with an oxford. Impress them with tge way you present yourself, not jist your clothes or you will look like a streetwear retard
Fitting clothes, dress for your body. I'd go with a dress shirt still w/ sleeves rolled up and tucked, but you could wear some nice denim if you have it. I wouldn't stress out too much, the fact that you're mindful of dressing to impress probably puts you ahead of a good few people attending. If you've got any subtle patterns on your dress shirts don't be afraid of giving them a go.
