Had two pants by them and a sweater. Sweater went to shit after one washing even though I was following all instructions. Pants both tear after a couple of weeks. All three items had a very bad smell that wouldn't go away. To be fair that was a few seasons ago but I haven't bought anything since for exactly that reason.

I think for the clothes to appear loose there must be, in one way or another, some obvious "distance" from the body. e.g. Make an apparent gap between the ankle and the cuff. similarly, create distance between the arm and the shirt cuff.

Don't forget many of these pieces are constructed to give this loose effect, It's not always a matter of sizing-up. Though that can be successful, particularly with bottoms since you can belt it and roll up the cuffs, whereas sized-up shirts can appear too long and have unfitting necklines.
