Oh yeah, the sizing and fit is different I hear. I only have Jordans, which I went a half size up on due to the narrowness of the toe area. On air forces I think you generally go tts or half down.

Reebok's "modern" line is made of low grade materials and whatever outdated, hand me down technology their German parents allow them to use. They are indeed Decades, the "France" edition that came out about 6 years ago. One of the better decades. Really nice supple spongy leather. Great shoe. Only problem is mine are 10s instead of 11s. My heel had worn out the back of the shoe a bit and I ended up filling the hole and overlaying with a sheet of leather myself. Not ideal. If anyone knows where I can get these in an 11 l'm willing to pay up.

Lads, I'm at a loss, and if you can help me, I'll be forever indebted. I have a nerve condition in my foot that prevents me from wearing any of the shoes and boots I used to be able to wear. The doctor says I'll basically be wearing New Balance sneakers and orthotics for the rest of my life to avoid painful flare-ups and deterioration of the nerve.

Are there any good brands or particular shoes that have wide toe boxes and decent arch support that don't look completely autistic? I've been looking everywhere and just can't find anything that doesn't make it worse. I'm going out of my mind, here.

Okay please, i know this is a barely longish read but I desperately need to feel like my ability to like things isn't broken. So for some reason, in the past 6 or 7 years, I've noticed that shoe designs, mostly the geometry of them, look like it was designed by a young child equipped with a crayon. I can go through 4-5 shoe stores EASILY, (foot locker, finish line, etc.) without finding 1 pair of shoes that don't look this way to me. Those shoes lined up in the picture I posted before this, that represents EVERY pair of shoe I ever saw and decided looked good/okay. I buy any and every shoe I think looks good. Anyways, has anyone else noticed these things though? I'll post an example or two and let me know if you agree.

Here's a particularl example: the top of the shoe is sloped too steeply, and in too much of a straight line. It's as if the shape of the wearer's foot is vertically fat. Also, on the side wall of the back heel are, that little almost arch like thing, particularly the space underneath, is way too tall. It reminds me of how the new Air Force ones are fucked up in that way. That little rubber part at the bottom of shoes on the edge (is it called/part of the sole?.) Why do they do this? That part to me is designed to be under the bottom of the foot, and is supposed to look like you're foot is on top of it kinda. I'll post the Air Force ones in the report to this. Please, it's really important to me that you guys answers these few questions for me to help resolve some internal anger and sadness I've had inside low key (I feel disfinctional as far as liking things in general goes.)

See what I mean? The bottom rubber part is way too high. Can we agree on this? To me its strikingly obvious and the first thing I notice about the shoe, even before it's brand.

Ignore my opinion, I'm picky for no reason and every shoe bothers me.heres my two us pennies.... The shoe laces look like they belong to like legit hiking/climbing shoes. The little strap attached to top ofthe tongue under the laces is too tall. I also think the cross crosses make it look like an oldpunk rock shoe, like some converse boots or something lol. The biggest green leathery are on the side of the shoe needs to be broken up somehow, as it gets toward the back it seems too flat, extended, big and long for me. I don't like the lanyard thing in the back, it seems like that belongs on a jacket or gloves or something but not shoes. On the square patterns at the bottom, I don't like how the squares are suddenly broken up and are just incomplete shapes, but this isn't bad at all. At the bottom of the laces I don't like how it's like almost a triangle where the lace holders stop. I think it's too steep of a triangle, and for some reason I feel like the leather rubbery material they used to lace through feels like it was set on top, I don't like it kinda sticks out a little. I don't like how you can see the grip from the side either, they look like construction equipment tracks. Tbh in being as picky as I can. A lot of these things don't really bother me, but they're things I don't particularly like. These are the type of things and more that I think about when browsing at a shoe store.
