I wash my jeans, though infrequently at best. Maybe 3 times total in the year+ that I've owned them. Not in the laundry but whenever I'm handwashing my cashmere i might give the jeans a little soak plus a light soaping. I don't use detergents and that helps the denim a lot. Never ever washing jeans based solely on principle isn't that great unless you also hardly sweat ever and washing them all the time is fucking stupid. Also if you put them in the dryer you deserve to have them ruined
