Post sales, deals, thrift finds, etc.
>poorfag
yep
Just copped these in a half size too big for $20 at a "vintage" place in NYC, along with some sweatshirts and some black converse for $10
Any ideas for a UKfag
Our thrift stores are total shit, designed to take in old people's shit their grandchildren don't want.

but their grandchildren are plebs
>tfw there are no brands in EU thrift stores that are prevalently available in American thrift stores
Our thrift stores are not as large and simply not the same as those in the US

TK maxx is the best you are gonna get i think. i find some good shit every once in awhile but expect nothing good for at least 60% of the times you visit

im in london and i dont know what better areas means. i tried thrifting in the east end but it was either shite or overpriced.

by better areas im assuming he means more well off districts since richer people might donate higher quality stuff then a thrift store/goodwill in a poorer district

he lives in or around the richest city in england. im pretty sure the east end is one of the most affluent parts of london so basically anon is fucked as even the thrift stores are too expensive for him

I'm in London too, better areas (richer) will sometimes have "vintage" stores but they are often overpriced. But you can occasionally find good and reasonably priced things at regular thrift stores in affluent/trendy areas (Soho, Brixton, etc)
Other than that, your best bet is TK Maxx or online stores like depop. Americans have far better thrift stores, like TK Maxx but cheaper.

I just found a thrift store that gets his stuff from.the us

Thrift stores are WAY too expensive for what they are these days, AND they are picked over. Seems to me that thrifting is dead, might as well go buy from overpriced vintage boutiques.
At least they have a good selection (sometimes)
501s for $7. White chucks for $9.
Thrifting's gotta be the best thing about living in a second world country. Basically 60% of what they sell is European and American used clothing from the 90's.

depends where you go and what you're looking for. Try driving to different nearby towns/cities.
Picked up for $75 and $80 at a Nike clearance store
