my boss wears a pair of shoes similar to those, and he probably makes 200k/yr.

i have 4 pairs of allen edmonds myself that I rotate through at my job. most guys have more like 2 pairs that they stick with, and maybe a Friday shoe that they like to wear with jeans.

unless someone has a really sharp pair of shoes, i dont even notice what people wear to work. for an internship, i'd say just get something that you can use and that you like. OP shoe is acceptable, not what i would choose i guess but totally fine. you probably already have a pair of shoes around somewhere that would work.

those would go well with jeans. it's kind of a southerner / mountain look, plus durable soles mean you can wear them p. much anywhere
