Going to book a consultation with my tattoo artist tomorrow. I'm going for something pretty close to this, but I don't know where. Maybe left forearm, and it would balance out what's on my right already. I'd probably change a few things like the weapon he's holding and add a background of some sort.

There was a reason I decided to get each of my tattoos, and the fact that I wouldnt get them done again today is a good thing: it means ive grown as a person.

how do employers feel about tattoos nowadays? i'm currently weighing up being a psychologist, social worker, electrician or warehouse worker––but how do people in the white-collar world react to them now?
can i just always wear long sleeves? and what jobs do you guys work?

I work at an office as some kind of accountant/administrator hybrid and I've got full sleeves. My employer haven't said anything but I tend to wear shirts anyway so they're usually covered up. Some of my coworkers also have various tattoos although most of them are small, but they don't bother to cover them up and to my knowledge they've never been told off. I think this will vary wildlly between employers though, depending on what kind of image they want to project etc.

don't you feel like talent is really overexposed these days? i'd say the most common age, back in the day, for acts to sign to a major and release their debut was 21-24. i think that's why i love the blue album, bleach and grace so much.

I agree that getting a tattoo as a talking piece for someones death is pretty shameful but a lot of people get them and don't talk about them with randoms. If I had a tattoo like that I'd have a generic answer or just be very vague when someone asked about it, tattoos can be as public or private as you'd like them to be. For a lot people immortalizing someone in a symbol on you is a very sentimental and power thing that doesn't have to be widely broadcasted for sympathy.
