my girlfriend spends a lot of time on here so can you help me pick an engagement ring for her?

describe her, was she a virgin when y'all met?
I'd honestly just by a pair of simple golden wedding bands. I'm not a fan of that bling shit.

>my girlfriend spends a lot of time on here
get out before it's too late
Your girlfriend here, it's over.

This.
But to be helpful, just get a simple band, maybe with a pinch, solitaire stone in a plain cut (princess, round, maybe emerald) and a basket setting so it's not too boring.
Diamond quality is more important than size. And don't worry about inclusions unless (you) can find them in under 30 seconds with a loupe.

>last sentence
Diamonds (almost always) have inclusions, meaning miniature marks that show up as grey or dark spots when you look very closely at the stone. A loupe is a magnifier. If it takes you forever to find it, or if you can't, then it's irrelevant, and diamonds will cost less when they have these. There is also a grading system to it, so the larger ones will end up making it cost less, but it doesn't take into account location of it, which has a big impact.
Any decent jeweller will walk you through how this works. Don't worry about terms too much, I was just trying to give you an idea.

the pic posted is a SLP ring, who the fuck gets there girlfriend a designer fucking ring as an engadgement ring?! I think it's hideous.
What about moissanite? If you want a clear, white stone, I mean. (I'd personally prefer something without stones. Silver or Titanium or Tungsten. Maybe wood or carbon fiber, too.)
Check out Etsy?

I don't understand this meme. Why would you give someone an engagement ring? I mean I've never been with a girl I'd want to marry but I can't wrap my head around giving her a shiny piece of metal before giving her another shiny piece of metal.
