At what age did you grow out of skinny/slim fit?
Me? I was 15.
slim, skinny, and tapered are for unfashionable 32 year olds and people stuck in 2015
Slim and skinny fit are great for slim and skinny people. I think you just literally grew out of it.

This, my ankles and feet are naturally small, some sort of taper is pretty essential.

>i have thin legs so my pants need to be tight
what kind of logic is this
what you have to realize is that adhering to one type of fit for any piece of clothing is a crutch for people who can't really into true fashion but just want to look reliably good by only wearing whatever happens to effortlessly flatter their own body
same thing could be said in regards to colors *cough*monochrome*cough*, materials etc...
a lot of people including on /fa/ need this crutch but it is still a fundamental misunderstanding of what fashion actually is
The real problem is that tapered jeans have become the default fit for most people, and most people don't know how to rock them. So now they're associated with average poorly dressed people.
Don't limit yourself to a specific fit or boycott a style. If it works with your footwear you're already doing better than 90% of humanity.
