I have no idea what type my hair is but it's starting to get straight and gross at the ends.
Should I just loc it or taper it?

I feel like locs are something you have to meditate on before actually committing to it. I say just taper it and trim the ends. But hey, if you want to temporarily experiment with locs like a high top dreads sort of thing then just go for it man
