no such thing. especially ((converse)) shit breaks down super fast. my longest pair of beaters are like 7 years old (barely used them lately though) are a pair of nike dunk sbs, comfy as fuck, cheap too and lasts a long ass time

Get some sk8-hi vans, they are robust as fuck.
You can easily find some on sale for under 60 bucks.

I use some off white sk8-his I bought from a vans outlet for $10. They take quite a beating

Idk for how much Etnies are in the USA (I assume you are there), in Europe they are around 100 euro, but I feel like you can find some on sale.
They are undestructable. And also look cool.

i've been wearing the same pair of all black vans authentics with white laces for 4 years now, and the more beat they look the more i like them, kinda like those red ones mac demarco sold for charity a while back. just don't skate in them though they'll fall apart really fast
