Loro Piana any day of the week
I've actually never heard of Bruno cucinelli. But I like loro Piana. I have a few items from there (including boxers lol). My parents have many items from loro piana and also like it very much. Definitely not an everyday purchase, though.
LP
Wearing a lp sweater atm
quality is great but the reason I would prefer bc is because lp is owned by lvmh and bc is completely independent. this just sways me for some reason

BC for sure.

Bc for knitwear and more, however there suits lack appeal, cuts are weird, they don't look nice in my opinion. I think they look whack.

LP - in house manufacture and specialist production
Cuci - shit for new money chinks
So Loro Piana is, in terms of quality, the pinnacle of non-bespoke menswear right?
Is there an equivalent for technical fabrics and less classic designs?

>the pinnacle of non-bespoke menswear right
It's shares the podium with Cesare Attollini and I prefer their tailoring, it's a bit tighter and sleeker a bit more modern.

I think there's a lot of preference that goes into it. My dad likes loro piana outerwear but prefers suits from ermenegildo zegna. I've heard brioni is also good; I have one pair of pants from there which I really like.
I have a cucinelli sweater, it feels like it could last generations, no exaggeration. you can feel the hours put into making it
