Probably because you live in an area with a lot of ladinos. Where I'm from Champion used to be the cheap comfy trainer brand, now it's the retro-appeal that's got everyone buying their stuff for over priced.

I was in japan a few weeks ago and i saw more people in osaka wearing champion than nike and adidas combined. I think a big part of why its in isn't because americans like it but just other countries. Also manchester by the sea depression core

for real though I've had this champion sweater for a few years and nobody ever noticed it until last year. Now I get compliments for it everytime I wear it lol
