He's not an actor, he's a porn actor.

Porn actors can't be /fa/, their job lacks class and artistic value, basically the opposite of what actual acting should be.

He's also the butt of a lot of jokes and is generally consireded a tool here in Italy. I mean no one really takes him seriously, if he ever were to invent a cure for cancer everyone would still talk refer to him as "that porn guy".

As I said, he's kind of a celebrity since people joke about him a lot, just thinking of the word "Pornstar" makes you think of Rocco Siffredi here in Italy.

Of course it's not very classy to talk about him but he's definitely well-known, not in a good sense though. You could argue that all publicity is good publicity, but he's not considered an "actor", just a low-tier celeb you could see in reality shows and stuff.
He's basically a living meme.

Also, a famous italian reality show some time ago did get him to participate simply to cash money from his "popularity".
