My hair is naturally thick and stays up as if I use a spray if I push it back after showering. Normally get it cut shorter on the sides and longer up top but after a while it starts to get too thick and just mops down. Any suggestions?

use volumizing mousse. i use one from herbal essances that's under $10. just shake it up and put like a palm sized amount int your hands after washing your hair and letting it air dry a bit. fluff it in. if you want to get really crazy, blow dry it upside down on low heat to intensify the lift

if you're using a small (like dime sized) amount of the argan oil and putting it on first, i don't think it will conflict, but the only way to know is to try it out. if it does, you can always use the argan oil as a deep conditioner (like a hot oil treatment) instead.
