Are biotin supplements a meme for hair growth?
yes it was only shown to improve hair if you have a deficiency and if you have a deficiency in it you will be aware that you have a disease

Almost all supplements are a scam.
If you think you have a deficiency or scared about losing hair, then ask a doctor to do a blood panel. If you have a deficiency, then they can tell you exactly why & can also help you out by prescribing you actual medication to fix it. Then asked to be referred to a dermatologist.

I'm certain I don't have a deficiency. I've always had thick, lush hair. I just bought into the biotin meme in hopes that my hair would grow faster since i'm attempting to grow out my hair.

i take these and i have seen a slight growth difference compared to when i wasn't taking them(two months). i noticed my roots are producing more natural oils, it has biotin along with other essential vitamins, although if you consider buying it don't take it without something in your stomach, it'll make you nauseous.
here's a tip, massage your scalp with your fingers for a few minutes softly a few times a week, then lay upside down for another few minutes. it was a hair growth hack that i found to work over time. it helps with blood flow and hair follicle production.
