Hey anons I need some advice. Should I be taking some minoxidil to save my crown? I'm 20 btw and the hair on top has always been sort of thin ever since High School. But when I got to univ, it just got more obvious under the light, sunlight, etc. My hairline kinda receded too in freshman year but has been the same ever since...(mature hairline? IDK) I'll post more pics later. Just asking since I heard one really had to commit to minox and going off it would make the thinning worse(?)
I'd say it's time to start doing something, yeah
Godspeed

Here is a view of current hairline kinda has stayed like this for as long as I remember

Looks ok from here I guess but looks worrisome from the front

Minox does nothing for your hairline I'm pretty sure. Might help with top of your head though, it couldn't hurt. I'd go to a dermatologist and talk to them.

Do any hair loss prevention products even work?
Looking it up is like looking up penile growth products. Just endless an endless barrage of bullshit.
The only difference being that I'm certain the latter is bullshit while I want to remain hopeful that the former may have some actual solutions.
Use Minoxidil 5%
It does work but will take at least 4-6 months and +1 year to look great
Still better than anything out there

Yes(ish)
5α-Reductase inhibitors like Finasteride slow down the hair loss
Potassium channel openers like Minoxidil extend the growth phase in the hair
If everything else fails, hair transplant

Growing your dick is like trying to grow your nose. Hair is different. Just dont fall for natural remedies bullshit. Putting coconout oil into your hair wont do anything. Search minoxadil testimonies on youtube.

No amount of chemicals or a faggy diet can save a man from hair loss.
The longer you keep your hair the more visible it will be.
Im not trying to be a dick, im really sorry bro.
You need Finasteride, not Minox. Get started on it ASAP. I didn't realize I was losing hair (happened very quickly and I had long hair) and now I have a really shitty fucking hairline and I can never get it back. Finasteride actually does work. I've been on it for like 2 years and my hairline hasn't moved at all.

looks like a hair whorl instead of anything else. If you are older than 20 your hairline might be maturing which can be accompanied by thinning on the crown
