You won't develop fashion sense by buying clothes on the internet - it's a long proccess of trial and error
Go to the stores, try on as many looks as possible, figure out what fits you and what you're comfortable with. You don't have to buy anything, you can probably order it later on the internet if it's cheaper. Do this as often as possible in your spare time, don't be afraid of trying something you've never wore before. Good luck

Thanks for the input.

However, I'm in a small town, and there isn't much in the way of selection when it comes to clothes. Could someone just give me a general idea of what would make me look "normal"? I feel like a lot of my cloths don't work together and make me look like an autist (which I am).

Read the sticky. Not trying to be an asshole, it will actually help a lot for someone like you. It's very basic and recommends various brands depending on budget. Then lurk for a few months. If you want to start out with some cheap basics you can wear / experiment with check out Uniqlo. You could just get some chino shorts for summer, some plain color tees, maybe some polos and button downs as well. The sticky will help give you the basics of color blocking, etc. so that you will look like you at least sort of know what you're doing.

black slim fitting jeans and white and black t shirt - i prefer v-necks cus you just look slicker

you are now dressed better than 60% of your city eventho you are wearing basic stuff

for shoes go for a simple sneaker like af1 or something

buy a jean jacket or a dark colored bomber - play it safe

except for that idk op. you know what you want to wear better than us.

look up some of your favorite musicians and take inspo from them etc etc
