Let have a wholesome thread. I personally would like to thank /fa/ for turning me to the right direction that allowed me to develop the style I have today. Which i'll admit is nothing special but is in fact better than what I see most people wearing around my campus. In 2012/3013 when I started my freshman year of college I was lost. Looking back at my awful fits makes me very thankful that I eventually found the light.
So guys, what has /fa/ done for you? How long have you been posting here? Has /fa/ been beneficial to you at all?
shit poster need not apply.
It helped. I learned about designers here and about online shops, but what was most helpful was looking at shitty fits in WaYWT to know what not to do. Some good fits from these threads inspired me as well, but mostly they were warning signs.

Similar experience here too, after posting on /fa/ for a while I stopped shopping at the mall completely. living in upstate NY all the malls suck here anyways. I began exclusively shopping online, got rid of all my graphic t's expect for a few band shirts, invested in nice shoes (mostly /fa/ memes), and threw out any kind of clothes with distressing. Saw my style increase tenfold.
