They fit nicely, but I wouldn't really say they're a meme shoe just because they're made out of canvas & take after Converses. That's like saying any company which makes running shoes are just meme companies who make wanna-be Nikes.

Hell, even Converse is owned by Nike. Some people just don't like the Converse name-brand. It's like someone going for a new BMW 7-series instead of a similarly optioned Mercedes S-Class. It's really the same shit, but people buy one vs the other based on the brand that they like the most.
