How big is the room you want to decorate, OP? Is it just a bedroom or do you have a desk there as well?

I've heard that you're not supposed to put plants into a bedroom in Feng Shui because "they have too much energy". I don't buy into that stuff, but the idea is good IMO. Avoid clutter and unnecessary decoration in your bedroom, so you have a nice and calm atmosphere to sleep in. Maybe put one or two small air cleaning plants on the windowsill, but no giant palm trees.

here's the only image that seemed to give me any ideas about bedrooms.

more or less inspired me to build my own bedframe that i could fit a flat file underneath and extend the riser on the foot of the bed across my tiny room into something of a bench/shelf.

desu mate your bedroom is your space so it should suit your needs. Some are empty and a e s t h e t i c whist some are cluttered or homely but either way ill bump with a lot of bedrooms

Sleeping on mattresses without a bed frame isn't as nice as it looks.

I slept on mattress only in my first year of university and I found that any dust in my room got into my bed and into my lungs a lot quicker. My room wasn't particularly dusty but it was still unpleasant.

If you want to hoover your bedroom every day go right ahead, but leave it a week and you'll notice the difference.

Light colors for the walls, netrual for the floors and furniture. No reds or strong colors (especially no mediteranian colors). Dont use pastel either.

A plant is nice but can add vapidity which is obviously undesirable.

Ok, here's why you're fucking gay.
1: You'd see the shifters on the downtube. Please point them out to me because I don't fucking see any, and for the gear it's at they'd be angled up from the downtube.
2: You'd see the cable guide piece beneath the bottom bracket. Again, please point them out because I done see any.
3: You'd see cable housing by the rear derallieur so the derallieur can move without fucking with the cable tension.

Besides the shifters, the bike is pretty gross looking desu.
