makes so much sense in the city where you're going around everywhere carrying stuff and maybe wanna pick up some shit along the way

obviously if you work in an office and need to look professional get a briefcase or maybe a nice looking messenger bag but backpacks are way more functional for other stuff

This is my situation, I'm a grown ass man and I have a briefcase for work, but I use my north face back pack for day trips, shopping, etc. It's essential in a city that 99% of the time requires public transit to get anywhere.

I want to replace it with something nicer, I'm considering Herschel or Kanken though I'm open to other suggestions.

I bike to work so I a backpack is the only option I have. The one I have atm is really shitty but I don't know what else to get.
