I use Dark Temptation as a daily fragrance and get nothing but compliments so I say so. Also check'd.

I use sanex zero, without alcohol, parabens and aluminium, it has shorter duration but at least it is less cancerous.

I work in an industrial engineering unit, so not wearing /frag/ stuff to work, what are good deodorants, interested in low carcinogenic risk, also going to start using a proper antiperspirant the night before, will they conflict?

Use a bar soap that contains patchouli or sandalwood.

I use patchouli bar soap with a loofah and just make sure I scrub all over my body, focusing on my pits (pretty much just basic hygiene).

Girls have come up to me and commented on it, saying I smell good. My girlfriend even mistook the clean after-scent for a type of cologne and asked me what it was.

So I would go for that. Extremely inoffensive, but smells subtle and amazing.

It is never acceptable to use any Unilever / P&G povertysmell. Never. If you are poor, understand that a $30 bottle of a real EdT will last several times longer than five cans of Axe at $6 each. I recommend Guerlain Vetiver as an all season, long lasting scent that is widely available for a reasonable price.
