Where can you find a decent semitraditional trench coat for lass than 1k? J. Crew is pretty solid, and affordable compared to some other "preppy" brands. They should usually fall at or above the knee for the best look (and pretty comfy in my opinion). This means that the inseam should usually be anywhere from 9 to 5 inches

J. Crew is okay. Have some of their stretch chino shorts. Pretty thin. Got a hole my second time wearing them somehow. Sent them an e-mail and they are sending me a replacement for free.

Bonobos, Chubbies, Vineyard Vines, and Brooks Brothers are all good options.

I'm 6' and wear 9 inchers. Might get some 7's in the future. If you are a manlet, 7 inch is the absolute longest you could wear.

A bit of an attempt at a uniform of the privileged without putting much thought into it.

I'm contemplating a pair of white tennis shoes desu. beige trousers and an oxford boring but I couldn't bare being around quite so many boat shoes

Try the Tretorn Nylites. They were my go-to Summer shoe last year. I beat them to hell and they still clean up great.
