I am a rock musician and I usually have a shaved head. These days growing out a buzz cut. But I will still have short hair.
Look at Matt Bellamy, Josh homme etc, they have short hair too.
But I think it is a part of their "rebel" persona to have long hair.

I was thinking the same thing, op.. though I noticed its not just musicians.. its artists in general. There is an unusually high number of long haired men among artists of all sorts (esp in music).
And the exact opposite seems to apply to ppl that focus on their physical traits more (like athletes, fighters, soldiers). One would say it has to do with short hair being more practical vut there trally isnt much difference in that way between a bald head or an inch long hair. Yet still most of them go for the bald/buzzcut.

I guess with artists its just some kind of need for rebellion and being different.

Ben Gibbro shouldn't have ever had that haircut anyway. Big round box head ass nigga. Only people will slim or actually masculine facial shapes and a neck should have long hair.
