Dressing nicely isn't compensation for autism or unfortunate facial features/ fatness. As long as you don't dress like complete shit, I doubt women will avoid you because of your clothing.

That being said, I don't think it's too important. It's definitely a plus if someone knows how to properly dress themself, but it's unnecessary.

Btw, dressing for others sux. Dress for yourself be confident.

OP here. Just to clarify, I am asking specifically about girls who are interested in fashion, not just regular girls. I know for regular girls it isn't very important and you just have to look presentable.

I enjoy fashion and seeing how trends and styles change.

I'd say style is 3/10 in terms of importance.
If I don't find a guy attractive in the first place, his clothes aren't going to make him any more appealing. If I like him, having a good/unique style is going to bump a 6-7/10 guy to a 8-9/10.

tldr; style/uniqueness is not a requirement, but often makes a good looking guy even more attractive
