Where do I find blank crew necks that don't look like shit? I really hate crew necks that hug your neck like the guy on the left of pic related. They look too much like uniforms to me. I want something that looks like what the guy on the right is wearing. Is this just a matter of how the shirt fits you individually, or is it a matter of make?
>>
I think left happens if you size down, right happens when you size up. I rarely encounter that problem

Thats what i was thinking at first but the shirt on the left is clearly looser than the shirt on the right
>>
Depends on your build, but also brand. I find the cheapest brands usually have smaller neck openings so maybe look for slightly higher end shirts

Honestly bro get mossimo from target. The quality and cut has varied a bit over the years but it's pretty solid atm

I've noticed a little bit of inconsistency in the way their tees fit. Nonetheless I still agree. I have a couple plain heather grey tees from them that fit perfect. I size up to M in their slim-fit and it's the perfect mix of not too tight, not too loose.

I've been wearing these Bayside pocket shirts lately. They're very much an 'industrial' type of garment; the cotton is a noticeably heavy weight and the cut is what I've been told is more traditional (slightly rectangular, narrow torso and broader shoulders), which fits well on my body at least. They look substantial enough that I usually can wear them alone tucked into some chinos and not look too pedestrian.
>>
Does anybody know where I can cop heavy white cotton T-shirts that have this sorta "heavy" feel to them?
I'm a leaf btw

Velva Sheen makes the most high quality tees and they have a loss neck like pic on the right
>>
Shirts of thinner/lighter materials usually have looser neck openings. You'll have more luck going with slightly higher-end tees for a similar fit/neck opening. 'T by Alexander Wang' and 'Alex Mill' have some nice ones, but even some cheap ones like Calvin Klein can have similar fits and necklines.

Jockey slim fit crewnecks from the bay have been GOAT for me. Fit perfect top to bottom and are 3 for 30

Contrastingly, where can I get plain white t shirts with tight collars?

I can't honestly seem to find any. I just want a t shirt that shows a little bit under my sweater

UK btw
