I have an alpha bomber jacket that my ex stitched a bunch of patches onto. I realised after wearing it for a while that I should have got the tall version of the jacket. Would I be able to remove the patches without damaging the jacket, so I can sell it for a new one? cheers

The degree of damage will depend on the type of fabric. Find a part of the jacket no one will really care about like the very bottom and poke it with a needle, then see how easy it is to rub and stretch the hole away. Whatever you're left with is most likely what you'll see if you take them off

Id go with something taller instead of a square, with tighter kerning on the text. Black text on white bg looks better too. The appeal would mostly be in the font.

I think nihilism sells well in the patch community because it appeals to a contrarian "bad boy/girl" image that goes hand-in-hand with patched jackets and whatnot, so I think the image of nihilism is the selling point, not nihilism itself.
This patch is pretty contrarian in its own right given the current patch scene, so I think it should have some appeal. As always, I'm starting with a small batch size too

I'm actually pretty excited to see what kind of response it gets, it could go in any direction

Got a slightly different version of that at a convention recently along with some other assorted patches, of all the Apollo patches I think the 17 is the nicest, though I would like to get all of them one day from amazon or ebay. The whole lot was pretty cheap. The cyan one is pretty cool but it's a marines patch so I probably won't end up wearing it on anything.

When you say "disdain for life," what do you mean? Clearly you're struggling with mental health which contemplation can't really fix, but I wouldn't be surprised if a sort of existentialism or nihilism is affecting you too. If you feel that's the case, I unironically recommend doing what I'm doing now and reading Nietzsche. Forcing things into perspective philosophically and emotionally obviously isn't going to fix all of your problems, but lightening your load in whatever way you can is going to help at least a little.

Decided to take some pics of what I got + packaging just in case anyone is ever curious about how this stuff is packed/handled.

First up, Unlimited Patch Works. Just the patches taped to the inside of an envelope. Fine quality, kinda cheap, but they didn't cost a lot so that makes sense. Time to get something to velcro them to since I'm dumb and didn't realize until after ordering that they have velcro backing for army jackets and shit.

It's very rare that they give you a sample before the payment, I've never even heard of that. What most (good) places will do though is send you samples before manufacturing starts and allow you to redesign as you see fit. I'm sure if you're completely unhappy with them you can ask for a refund, minus the cost of the sample production
