Thanks, anon. I've got a new pair coming in the mail but I'm not completely sold on the Made in Portugal quality. I'd like to judge it for myself but many people have complained about the quality of the shoe. Also -- do you think it'd be better for me to re-paint the Velcros in the picture? There are noticeable scuffs on the toebox and a couple more on the back but I'm really unsure about what to do. I'd try to avoid getting paint on anything besides the leather.

here's a pair of 2 year old aldo low tops. They've held up well for a $60 shoe, made in portugal quality isn't bad. Probably have worn them 3-4 times per week since i got them.
