(i actually tried to do this with myself, I wore dickies coveralls and bandanas wrapped around the whole head, maybe a jacket over it - once i wore it in all black and people stared in a bad way, i just can't figure out what i looked like ...maybe a satanist?)

Has anyone ever felt like they started a trend unintentionally or are experiencing these sorts of coincidences where you started wearing something years ago and now it's popular all over your city? I feel like it happens to me now and then.
