>tfw too scared to shave with a safety razor, straight razor, or fixed blade knife

>safety razor
outdated, but pretty effective
>straight razor
only at barber shops
>fixed blade knife
if you have some balls, it's pretty much about angle and sharpness try it on your hand hair first.
if you're this low test, then it's a miracle you can even grow a beard

Go with a safety razor, OP. as the name implies there is nothing to be afraid of because it is safe.
>>12333529
why is it safe?
>>12333577
It's not. You can seriously slice the shit out of your face and neck if you don't know what you're doing or your skin is way too sensitive. The name is simply implying it is safer than a straight razor, which is true.
good cartridge > everything else
there's a reason why it's mainstream
Bought a straight razor, basically a week of struggling but after that it's a breeze (lathering is important) although I still have to finish some areas with my electric razor - closest """feeling""" after switching to straight
But it's just too fucking expensive for everything

I've switched a few years back from a Mach3 to a safety razor (pic related). Honestly, no big differense other than I can't really cut myself with a Mach3 no matter how hard I try. This thing is foolproof.
With the safety razor you have to chose a good blade that's not too sharp (Feather blades for example) and lather up real good in order to have a nice and cut-free shave.

???
>>12333577
because only a tiny bit of the razor is sticking out, so you can't really cut yourself
use a single-edge safety razor
nice and sharp
Safety razor is the way to go. This is what I use

it's mainstream because gillette has been shoving cartridges down our throats for years. it's so fucking expensive. go with safety razors. 100 blades for $10 and if you have shitty facial hair like me each blade should last you 2 weeks

double edge is amazing desu
