Can a man wear a woman's watch?
Such as pic related?
>>12333391
Well, that too.
>>12333413
As long as no one sees the "Baby G", you should be okay. Just find another men's casio, there are plenty
>>12333382
Can't wait for my Kirova 3133 to arrive, already ordered a crystal case back for it.
>>12333413
yes. but you don't need to. there are male models with 36mm too although rare.
>>12333418
>>12333750
Any suggestions then? I'm looking for something that has a 200m water resistance.
Missus bought me this for my bday, what do you guys think? I know its no rolex but i love it
>>12333900
looks nice, neat and clean.
Wear it for a couple days and let us know
>>12333900
casualfag watch
should be ok quality tho
the only thing that really matters is if you like it
My second watch.
Already own a Seiko diver, not sure about the model
Next one will be a SARB017.
Goals are a Cellini and a Royal Oak or a Nautilus.. If faith is not more than kind to me, it'll take some years/decades, tho.
>>12333815
>200m water resistance
I think I've never seen a diver like that.
there are no small divers at this point with 20 bar. I could be wrong but I never saw that.
>>12333815
G shocks get a bad rap here, but they'll do what you're looking for. That, or look at a Seiko diving watch.
>>12334111
>>12334116
What if I tone it down to 100m?
Opinions on Timex Ironman 8 Laps please.
>>12334162
I mean, it's just a quartz digital watch. If you're looking for a digital watch with a stopwatch, that's perfect. And cheap. If that does what you need, by all means, go for it. But it's nothing special
>>12334351
Good, I'd much rather that than a flashy digital watch. I just want a discrete tool that isn't an eyesore.
>>12333413
no one really cares IRL. you might get made fun of by idiots on the internet
>>12334162
>>12334393
pretty fugly, i'd go for the baby g
>>12334045
>made in china
Enjoy your lack of quality control
>>12334447
quality control is muda.
>2017
>not into kaizen
>>12334475
>>12334483
CDBs, the watch
>>12334493
???
What do you think about these?
>>12334475
I love the skeleton backs.
One day, I will have all colours
>>12334045
Srsly you are a piece of shit for wanting a "roal oak" its the most fucking meme disgusting watch in the industry.
AP makes so much more appealing and tastefull watches the royal oak is a fucking sandnigger fatass shitwatch.
Yeah im triggered by this disgusting peace of shit.
Also if you really have taste and want haute horlogerie go for a JLC or A.Lange....
>>12333971
Tbh ive had it for like 2 months, its great, holds time, gets compliments and all the good stuff. No complaints whatsoever.
>>12334018
True, true. What do you wear just out of curiosity? I love watches and seeing peoples tastes in them
>>12336442
just got the strap like 10 mins ago for 5 euros its pretty good
>>12333491
And here it is
recently recieved pic related as a gift, what do y'all think?
>>12336630
Honestly, I like it.
Also, poor baiting skills...
>>12336159
Royal Oak is truly repulsive. It looks like a prototype.
Bought this and the golden tuna reissue. Was gonna buy a moon to mars speedmaster but the tuma is higher on my grail list. Shame this watch is a dust magnet
>>12336630
horrible as a gift. but it looks effay from afar. like a fake swatch. there are better Casios you could have been gifted.
Hey /wg/, I know absolutely nothing about watches. I'm going to buy one for my birthday, and was looking for some advice on the matter.
What are some good basic watches for under 200€? What brands should I look into? I'd prefer nothing too bulky but still with a 4cm diameter dial. And preferably no extra dials, a date counter is fine though.
My fits are usually black or dark colored, if that makes a difference.
>>12338933
just go to amazon and check out the watch section there. you can adjust and filter what features you want with size, case depth and everything.
analog Casio, Seiko/Pulsar/Lorus, Boccia Titanium, Timex and all these brands are pretty decent. stay with quartz movements at this price range. most are quartz anyway.
above all, it just depends what you want in a watch, like dial color, indices instead of arabic numbers or not, weekday indicator or just date, what kinda strap, strap material etc.
if you want 40mm case diameter, aim for 36-38mm, 41-43mm is too much most of the time because if it's your first watch, I think it should rather be smaller than bigger. so 38mm is the way to go. lots of options with that size anyway.
>>12339203
also, forgot: Citizen usually also got a few good affordable pieces.
>>12339203
>>12339208
Cheers friend, I'll check out Amazon for those brands.
Also wondering, is there a "cookie cutter" good all-round affordable /fa/ approved watch?
>>12339233
aight, you're welcome.
>>12339250
no, because individual tastes just differ way too much. and thank god they do.
you gotta know what you like and that is what's gonna matter.
>>12339250
Seiko 5, because it gets mentioned in every single thread
>>12337900
Norway and Sweden look like a floppy penis on that coin.
>>12339318
Yes This.
With effay back.
>>12333382
>>12339250
so close to buying this, 300$
>>12340056
The hell you gonna wear it with? Do you often dress like pic related?
Any suggestions for a puny 6.5 inches wrist?
>>12340169
Damn he looks so Russian
My trusty seiko solar
>like look of pic
>want something with better water resist
I've seen reports of swimming/showering fine with this watch but the manufacturer says no. Basically I just want to be able to swim with it on.
>>12341189
You need more case and gasket to increase the water resistance. What you want is a square G-shock.
There's a reason there's a relatively high floor on the size of dive watches. It takes physical material to prevent water from entering the case. There is no way around it.
