HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG
Not only is it capable its loaded with personality like rings on a coffee table or the antisocial goth girl who's beautiful on the inside. Sure her poetry is horrible and yeah you'll get ragged on for dating her but, lets be honest, goth girl is going to do you right, because the blonde cheerleader doesn't think she has to do anything beyond being the hot cheerleader. But the goth girl, she'll work for that ass, because she has something to prove and at the end of the day that's who you'll choose every single time, because she can do you in the way you need to be done. Just like an RX-7. And when the rest of your friends wake the hell up, you'll be the one who gets to say that you wised up first.

My style is pretty minimalist. The es350 has clean lines and is fun enough to drive in sport mode, but comfy for my long commute and frequent work travel. It's got a classy look that ages well and can contrast with my flashier outfits.
I feel like most people here have way over styled themselves to the point of muddling the message. You guys are all spices, no meat and potatoes.
I avoid streetwear and busy cluttered shit like the plague. If I wear a flashy or expressive fit, it has good contrast with my clean shave, close cropped hair, sleek, clean car, and measured presentation. That gets lost when you wear 8 different runway high fashion items at once. Or deck your car out in every flashy peice of shit you can buy.
Dadcore is fine by me.
>>12346421
>clean lines.
It still has that 2000s economy car look unfortunately. It doesn't have the muscular heft of the BMWs or Mercedes from that era. I'd rather have a second or first generation lexus es.
But yeah, the ricer posting is a little annoying.
>>12346449
We'll it is a 2008. Though the pictures off Google don't give it a great look. It's got a longer sleeker hood than the standard shit box, I'll probably grab a pic of it in the morning.

Most of these are meh to shit. 3 out of 5 or die trying.
Most cars post 1990 are shit. All cars post 2002 are shit.
Any thing aggressively stanced car is shit, especially anything post 90's, especially paired with neon rims. Your golf, subie, honda, and 3series. If its e30 or earlier you get half a nod but still, wtf are your thinking ruining your suspension. Stance mods, stance culture, even a few, are basically the car equivalent to flat billed rims with stickers, and fingerbanging 17 yr old trailer trash chubsters listening to black veil brides.
60's are all golden. Some 70's and 80's are solid.
Luxury is /fa/ to a point. Citroen DS>>>Bugatti Veyron. Spending 50k on tires twice a year is tacky. If you're loaded, spend it on art and penthouses.
Performance is /fa/ to a point. Form should come first, then function. Audi Quattro gets a pass as you can take the aero off, paint it black, and boom, classic. Example, Porsches have performance but the form is timeless. 964 or earlier though. 993 can get a pass but barely. 996 and later look like shit.
Rice is trash. Early jap pony/muscle gets a pass as they follow good 60s/70's styling and are less in danger of rice. Wings, lips, and anything that screams I take animu, vidya, or fast and the furious movies literally is trash.
You can get ricer cred without being shit. FD Rx-7s have classic lines in stock form, but please get it in a conservative color. FCs are even better since they're cheaper, easier to maintain, and more understated.
Most Euro is good. Not too brash, unique (in the states at least) and very fashionable. No one has posted one of the best /fa/ choices there is, the mini.

Mini's are plentiful, cheap, and have a huge support base. Compact, peppy, and incredible classic.
Not enough money for a Mini? Get an classic Beetle. Same hallmarks (classic, stylish, etc) just not as pronounced. Look, it's so bulletproof you can even try to poison it with stance and it still works. Get one, they're like 3k you dolts.
>>12349578
here's your (you)
You fucking assholes, look at this 300 SL. It's a mercedes so the starving models will be impressed, even though you can find good models for 8-9k. They made a shit ton of them. They're everywhere.
Convertibles with always get extra points. As with Tasteful chrome, not this gaudy acute angled shit on modern cars. Clean lines. CLEAN LINES.
You want slouchy jap comfycore? Get something with real leather and clean simple lines. SIMPLE. LINES.
>>12349571
>>12349576
These 15 yr old's need an actual opinion with their vaper buddies all bottom out their family's 2003 subaru wagons in a few years time and look like ass.
You goddamn idiots. Look at this 944. It's a Porsche and an underrated classic. It's got performance but you can handle it. 911's will kill your wallet, your life, or both. You can get 944s for 5k. There is no good angle for them. It looks a little somber, like it yearns for something, from every angle. That's the brilliance. You get this feeling like something is off but it's still so right. You want aesthetic, this is it.
>>12349626
The 944 is an absolute piece of shit and yes, I have driven one.
Get this through your thick skulls. Why ruin your style by going to the shitty art gallery opening in a 2009 Kia Sportage?
You control what you watch, you control what you wear, you control what you consume. Control the way you travel. Do not fall for fake carbon fiber, extended studs, 90% tints. Stance is poison and the worst of it is it's stupidly expensive.
Look you fools. This is about at easymode as it gets. Saab 900. You don't need the turbo but fine if you do. It's a bond car. Yes you waifu having basement dweller 14 yr olds, this is a bond car. And it's brilliant.
>>12349626
Reminder 1988 had no real significance.
>>12349652
I love a Saab 900, and it's always been on the list... but the FWD is still such a turn-off. I think I'll buy a 190e Cosworth first.
Ladies, femanons, and traps, and fags. Look at this fucking LS400. It was a legend back then an is a classic now. You want security, luxury, and reliability? Get one. You want something that you will look phenomenal in on your way to your friend's poetry slam? The with awful prose but you support her anyway cause she puts up with your mental illnesses? These are bullet proof and everywhere. It's comfy, has gorgeous tan leather seats, plenty of room enough in the backseat to fuck your pretentious photographer man whore. Performance will surprise you. Remember these killed everything before it and started a whole new market. Price will surprise you even more. 3-5k.
You know what else is 3-5 that you're thinking of getting? That 2008 Nissan Sentra S. You look like shit in it. It's a shit car. The S stands for shitty. Don't do it.
Get the lexus. Your cream ankle length pleated skirt will look incredible stepping out in this.
>>12349692
you know what else 3-5k gets you? enough ways to kill yourself. or maybe a proper car that will last 5km

Good choice but 3/5 due to awful wheels and blacked out details. 4/5 if it was way closer to stock. Have all the performance and handling mods but keep it under the hood; don't be a twat about it on the surface. Still, one of the better choices posted in this depression stable of cars. 80s/90s boxy is always a good idea.
Supras are beasts but almost all of the are riced out and trash. Look at this mark 2. It has less performance but fuck you, I hope you choke on your monster energy drink. This is the effay supra. Excuse the brash tires.

as i said that is true for most cars. if you think the car is great because its so reliable, then you should have just posted a volvo because they last much longer and cost a fraction. they are also safer and faster. did i mention they are effay? oh, and they are easy and cheap to fix. they also look nicer. etc
>>12349726
Idk why everyone is making a big deal. you can get a decent one for 3 grand in new york and probably another 3 to fix it up.
Thats 6 months at a regular ass job. Aka my trader joes salary.
>>12349783
yeah but like how often do you require maintenance and how often do parts break after the first job in relation to other cars
>>12349766
It's true for less cars than you'd think. Can cars known for their reliability do it with proper upkeep and proper driving? Yes. Can most cars in general do it? no.
The P1800 is /fa/ and I do find it extremely impressive that one made it over 3 million miles but it's a completely different kind of car. I also think you underestimate how impressive these figures are. The average life expectancy of a new car is 150,000 miles, and it's considered impressive to survive over 300,000 miles. Even if the longevity of a car largely comes down to how the owner treats it, it still takes a damn tough car to break 6 figures.
Oh and I wasn't the one who posted the car.

Wrecks the whole curve at a score of 40.

Miata's (pre 2002-3) are essentially a love letter to classic British roadsters, which will forever be effay. Understandably dad-core for some, but you just can't beat a small, simple, agile convertible. Low to the ground, engine in the front, power to the rear wheels. Classic.
What differentiates them from similar convertibles of it's day, like the honda s2000, toyota w30 mr2, etc? Just look at the lines. The others are too bogged down by 2000's era trend styling, and looking to the future. Very japanese, and there's really nothing wrong with that at the time. But the miata bodies are simple, classic, timeless.
An MGB would be even better but these are infinitely more reliable and cheaper to maintain.
>>12355097
A mk1 with a hardtop, or better yet one of the few Fastback mods like the infamous Autokonexion one, is one of the best looking things out there.

Guys, I am tired of daily driving my hybrid.
I really like the new WRX models, but based on this thread they seem very un-/fa/. I understand that but they are relatively economical, have all modern comforts and safety, come in manual and seem to be fun to drive. Will I regrety it?
>>12355171
It's a mercury cougar, there's almost nothing to be done. Get rid of the spoiler, maybe repaint in silver or bronze. It's got late 90's early 2000's design curse. 99% of all cars at that time looked awful. He'd almost be better off with a first gen Focus Hatchback, designed in the same period.
Still would be a 2/5 but still has retains a certain aesthetic of the time, like buying a copy of windows 98 from circuit city while listening to Harvey Danger's Flagpole Sitta'
>>12355194
Do you easily have $30k? If so then no, you won't regret it. Also these are important things to you, as you mentioned:
>relatively economical
>have all modern comforts and safety
>fun to drive
The wrx will be great in all these categories compared to most posted on the board, especially the safety and features. There's no substitute for that. Cars today are way way safer, and modern wrx's have heaps more performance (which means fun to drive.)
But before you do, consider the first gen WRX hatchback, though nice unmolested versions are like unicorns.
>>12355194
>>12355228
If you honestly have that kind of money and are ACTUALLY seriously considering what to purchase based on being effay, and need these boxes ticked:
safe
modern creature comfort
loaded with features
4 seats (technically)
awd
performance oriented
Audi Mk2 TTS Quattro. 0-60 in less than 5.5 sec, AWD, 4 seats (technically,) Modern design that's contemporary but not too cold, and has no garish racer bits that scream "my favorite music is soundcloud trap music"
Modern bmw's also satisfy much of the points above but don't get one older than late 90's. They're for terrorists and chads.
Honestly there's no competitor to the unique package that is a wrx. The Lancer evo is the closest and is as cringey as the wrx while somehow having a more boring design. The nissan gtr should be considered but that's out of your price range, and older ones are a pain in the ass to import.
pic limit reached, so just google Audi Mk2 TTS Quattro. Silver or black works best.
>>12355258
>don't get one older than late 90's. They're for terrorists and chads.

You have problems if you think the Mercedes 190E Evo2 is degeneracy. It's a 1 of 200 90's Mercedes four door with a Cosworth engine and an unmistakable aero kit on it. Sure most people would think you are just driving a cheap riced out 90s Benz, but it's a revered $260,000 left-hand drive Mercedes, and it marked the end of the company actually giving a shit about creating actual track-focused performance cars, and it ushered in the era of AMG, which was created to make people feel like they've bought a car like the 190E Cosworth Evo2.

Its a car from the 80s.......
That being said this or a benz from the 80s (think 300d or 190e) are as reliable as all hell in regards to the transmission and the engine but little shit will go wrong pretty often (every month or two) and paying someone to fix it will quickly send you into the hole. But if you can fix it yourself (there are hundreds of youtube videos dedicated to exactly these quirky common problems in 30 year old cars) the parts are only somewhat expensive and lets be real you bought it with the intentions to look special, you have to be ready for the consequences.
But hey people build houses off of youtube videos, as long as you got the time you can pretty easily keep a Beamer or a Merc running.
>>12349796
An M3 is a different story. Dude said E30 which is easy as shit to get in okay to good condition.

I have been looking at Audi, but more of the A4 because I want 4 doors. My only concern is that reliability and mainatainability would be pricy. I would have to buy it used also.
The WRX on the other hand is probably better to buy new, as it wouldn't depreciate as fast. Repairs and reliability would be better too.
