i get compliments from people in uni I don't talk to but I don't know if they qualify as strangers. I don't know their names though

one of the nicest compliments i have received from a stranger was when i was sitting down looking into the distance and a girl came up to me and just said wow you are really beautiful and walked off again. i think compliments are only worthwhile when you can tell it comes from an honest place rather then just as a conversation starter. or when someone tells you about something that reminded them of you. thats always nice.
