Is it possible to find good shit at a thrift store, like, have any of you ever found something effay in a place like good will? Are there any better stores than goodwill in america?

It is but it takes a lot of time and a lot of sifting through crap
the best way to thrift is to go to an upper middle class city in your area and spend a good amount of time looking through everything
if you're in a small town or in a big city, the stuff will either suck or it'll already have been picked over by eBayers

yes, but you have to be lucky or to know in advance when they are getting a new load.

sure
It takes a lot of time, and if you live in a bigger city, you'll probably find better shit.

This, also look for regional/local charity thrift stores. They're usually not as picked over and their donations often more varied than the standard "spring cleaning" Goodwill stuff.
Personally I have best luck at Savers, but it can be hit or miss at times.

I found this really nice place in Savannah GA called "Civvies Recycled Clothing"
Unfortunately I live in Miami so I'll probably never be able to go back.
