Hei guys. I'm looking for the right backpack and can't seem to find one that fits my requriements. I'm going to be a journalism student in London and need a backpack for it. It needs to be weather resistant for the rain, comfortable and slim for public transport use and preferably easy-access to take out notepads, dictaphones and cameras as quickly as possible. I've looked at chrome bags for a while and read some negative reviews, anyone got experience? Thanks for the help. Also General bag thread.

Thanks looks pretty good
For journalism i'd go with a messenger style bag as a backpack is much easier to steal from on the Tube
If you're in the UK check out Montrose rope and sail.
Hundreds of years of history + Excellent bags. Very distinctive and functional.
Check out their game bag for messenger bag style, if you ask they can also sew in any extra compartments needed.

Does anyone own the Rains backpack?
How is it?
Rains is pretty good, had it for 3 months, no problems, just like new
