these handmedowns my dad bought in the 80's
the white is starting to fade from so much use but they still look decent and are exponentially more durable than any of the modern topsiders iv owned.
Also black samba ii's but I broke the backs on them and never wore socks so they smell like a goats asshole.

I personally like the Jazz low pro. They're incredibly comfy. The vegan ones wear out so fast but they take a beating.

They're also true to size btw. I'm an 11.5 in adidas, Pumas, and onitsuka Tigers, a 12 in Nike, and and an 11.5 fits perfect.
They're really grippy sometimes and when walking if the floor is a little moist the Jazz ones have triangles at the bottom that somehow become like mini weak suction cups.

Lookin' for a new daily beater/can wear at work shoe (I'm a school librarian, so I can pretty much show up in a zippered hoodie, no real dress code, not in the public eye, etc), anyone heard anything about the Sanuk TKO?

I've never even heard of the brand before, but they're minimalistic and look comfy, which is what I'm looking for. Already got Chuck 2s (honestly I fucking hate them), Clarks Desert Boots (meh) and Redwing Iron Rangers (special occasions).

I like em alot, have the samba adv at the moment. Classic fit with about anything, durable af, pretty comfortable except walking long distances.
Only issue I have is I'd prefer a more rounded toe, like on the Samba Jr. A little more room for wider feet

Well, they're cheaply made. The sole has gotten all flat and there's no bounce, and the small airpockets on the back of the sole have torn open and small rocks get stuck inside the sole, all the goddamn time.

They get hot really fucking easily as well, but they were so cheap that i can't really complain about them. Good for moshpits though.
