511s are kinda shitty IMO. Every frat boy wears them. They're super low-rise, which is fine if you like that kind of stuff, but you can't tuck anything into them for that reason. I wear 501s, they can be nice and slim depending on the wash; I think the fit is great but you can always get them tapered of you want the fit of 511s.

What's the appeal of raw denim? is it just fades? I've never really understood it. It just seems too impractical for me. (No, I don't like pre-faded jeans either, IMO both raw and pre-faded look like shit, I just like light washed and black jeans... but tha'ts just my opinion)

However for the sake of contributing i also own a pair of pd&c stretch slims i got at a surplus store for dirt cheap, and they're really comfy and look great and i highly recommend them, but i can't speak for the quality and durability because they're still new.

really the only issue i have is they run a little long, so they stack kind of awkwardly with lowtop shoes, but that can be fixed super easily
