Thinking about cutting the top after about 7 months of growing it. What kind of hairstyle would look good on me with my lousy facial features? Currently the top and bangs are about 6-7", and I have a 4 on the sides.

My hair is getting medium long (i have a faded cut), and i need something to put in it to style it to the side.

So far i've been doing well without products, but now i definitely need it.

What do i put in it that is the least greasy as possible (i hate to run a hand trough my hair and have it all greasy afterwards). It doesn't have to be incredibly strong, i just need something in there to work the hair to the side basically. I was thinking that the gel stuff that people use to make the hair lay back completely would be overkill, for example.

I really just need something that kind of gives the feeling that natural oils after a couple days with no shampoo gives you. Not incredibly strong nor incredibly greasy.

Shampoo(2-4 days)

Conditioner(Everyday-2 days)

Then I will dry my hair with a cotton t shirt, the towels will make it frizzy.

Then after my hair is damp, I put some ApHogee Pro-Vitamin leave in conditioner in and comb my hair back

yeah its a bitch, you can get some high quality hairsprays that dont smell and have a strong yet natural look, thou u may need to order it from amazon, thats your best bet. Pomade would weigh down the hair too much with oils. I also reccomend taking over 5000mcg biotin for hair strenght and using a good strong shampoo, trust me the difference it makes is amazing

That was actually the exact cut I got because I was in an awkward growth fa e and needed something. Honestly thought it looked maybe a little too metro for my face, but maybe with even longer hair it'll work better.

I should've mentioned too that my hair is naturally wavy and I cannot grow facial hair.

you can also get sprays that thicken hair, as well as volumizing powders
getting subtle highlights may also create the illusion of multiple levels, as would having it point cut by your hairdresser

Thanks for all the help and the compliments. I've been seeing a stylist but it's a woman who doesn't specialize in men's cuts, so I'll have to keep an eye out for a new stylist.

Contacts are something I always told myself I'd never do, but maybe it'll work out better now. I just hate the hassle involved.
