Not really anymore. Hedi's rock chic stuff had distressing that made sense. When it filtered into the mainstream everyone just sort of added rips of the knees and started calling distressing.

The only predistressing that looks ok is fading, rips etc just look retarded and fake as shit. If you just want faded jeans then it depends on your budget. I really like RRLs fading because it looks a lot more natural than others which just looks like they've scrubbed the indigo from the thighs.
