Because buying from overseas is way better due to a strong USD. I know how to shop around and find the lowest possible price, shopping online gives you many more choices and keeps me from going to a shitty mall full of awful stores with pitiful selections.

Partially because no stores around me stock the type of stuff I wear. Most of my clothes come from Japan these days.

Because of the convenience / lack of social interaction involved. The city I live in (Melbourne, Australia) has some pretty cool stores though, so I'm trying to break the cycle.
